DP: Tahiri Part of the Drug Trafficking, Conversation Wiretapped by Italian Authorities

Democratic Party returns to the accusations against the Minister of Interior Affairs, Saimir Tahiri. MP, Arben Ristani, said on Friday referring to the reports of Italian Police, resulting that Tahiri is involved in the drug trafficking. He referred to the two recent operations of Italian Police, after they sequestered one ton of drugs loaded on a tourist plane flying from Albania to Italy.

"Italian authorities do have information about the recent operation where Saimir Tahiri is involved. 

Our partners have documented the wiretapped conversation between Tahiri and one of the drug trafficking bosses. “It was not me,” says Tahiri to one of them.
