The former Prime Minister of Albania, Sali Berisha, disproved on Thursday Edi Rama's claims, by saying that Germany is against the opening of accession negotiations.
According to him, the German Bundestag has approved a document that will be published in the following days, where they list the conditions that Albania must fulfill.
"Well-informed sources from Berlin said that the Bundestag has approved a document that will be made public next days, that rejects Rama's candidature for unconditional opening of accession negotiations with Albania. This document requires 10 conditions to be met," said Berisha by publishing the list.
Voting the electoral reform;
Vetting of at least all appellate judges and prosecutors;
Criminal prosecution of all judges and prosecutors found to be in violation of laws;
Penalty and punishment for corruption and trafficking of senior officials;
Disappearance of planting and production of drugs;
Fight with concrete results of organized crime and corruption;
Establishment and Functioning of SPAK;
Establishment and Functioning of the Constitutional Court and the High Court;
Implementation of the electoral force and
The normal functioning of the rule of law.
He added that with Edi Rama like the Prime Minister of Albania, there will be only conditions and no integration at all.
