In the League of Prizren's building in Kosovo is continuing the exhibition "Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg in Albanian coins and banknotes".
Opened on June, 10 as part of a collaboration with The Bank of Kosovo and bank of Albania, it presents a special collection of the years 1921-1996, in which our National Hero is displayed.
There are also displayed banknotes used in Albanian regions during different periods, starting from first century B.C until nowadays. Earlier the exhibition was visited even by the President of Albania, Ilir Meta and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, even a myriad of important Kosovar and Albanian personalities. "Gjergj Kastriot Scanderbeg in Albanian coins and banknotes" exhibition will be closed on Tuesday, June, 12.
