The Minister of Defense, Olta Xhacka continued the accountability tour in the municipality of Klos and in the administrative units of Gurre and Suc, Dibra. In these meeting the Minister said to the citizens that the reason of these confrontations is not to make political propaganda but to realize what the government should do better.
"These meetings are made in order for you to tell us what are we doing wrong? How is our attitude towards the services we should provide you? How do our employees behave with the citizens? Do you find a solution anytime you knock on the state offices? All these things are a major concern to our Prime Minister, Edi Rama. This government is trying to do its maximum to eradicate the old system, where everything was nepotism-based," said Xhacka.
In these meetings the Minister of Defense was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Artan Shkreli. Shkreli spoke about the citizen's concern on the road axis 'Milot-Burrel-Peshkopi' and said that the road will be rehabilitated soon.
A very sensitive case of Klosi residents was that of the miner's status, on which Xhacka guaranteed that a final solution will be provided.
"The issue of the miners' has never lacked our attention. We have always addressed the miners problems. Now this issue is on the right track and we will very soon come up with a draft that will seek the public opinion to decide whether you agree or not," said Xhacka.
While Shkreli said that the final draft has arrived in the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and that they are waiting for an approval from the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Justice.
"We don't want the same story of the oilman to be repeated with the miners. It is just a matter of weeks," concluded Shkreli.
