Skenderbeu won their first Albanian cup beating Laçi 1-0. The match had few chances, most of them with James. Nevertheless the first half ended goalless. In the second half, Skenderbeu won a disputed penalty after Gjoni's tackle to James.
Laci claimed the tackle was done outside the penalty area but did not change referee's mind. Lilaj scored from the penalty spot and this was enough for Skenderbeu to win the cup.
The cup and the medals were awarded by Albanian President Ilir Meta who congratulated both teams, Skenderbeu for the second trophy this year and Laci for their effort until the last minute of the match.
