Albanian President Ilir Meta awards on Friday, Riccardo Migliori with the 'Knight of the order of Skanderbeg' with the motivation, "in a sign of appreciation and gratitude for his contribution in the protection, spread of democratic values and standards in Albania and for the unsparing support in the integrating and Euro-Atlantic process".
The event was held at the presence of DP chairman Lulzim Basha, SMI chairwoman Monika Kryemadhi, former PM Sali Berisha, Italian Ambassador Alberto Cutillo and diplomatic corps. According to Meta, Migliori has created special reports with Albania and has supported the country in key processes in modern history.
