The Court of Appeal in Durres has released on Thursday the former Director of Roads, Andi Toma.
After examining the request, the Court decided to investigate him in free state while was being charged for abusing with tenders on Elbasan-Gjinar road.
He has held the post of Director of Roads during 2008-2013, while was arrested in February after the former Director of the Albanian Road Authority, Dashamir Xhika's file scandal of a damage of about EUR 50 million, caused for the construction of Tirana - Elbasan road.
The denouncement was made by the Minister of Energy Damian Gjiknuri, accusing him for abuse of office.
