'Government Must Continue Reforms, Opposition Should Take Responsibilities'

The German Minister of Foreign Affairs, Michael Roth had a clear message for Albania during his official visit in Tirana this Saturday.
"We expect the Albanian government to be able to proceed consistently to the reforms and we also expect the Albanian opposition to undertake directly its responsibilities to contribute, meaning directly to all these processes," said the German Minister.

They held a meeting by discussing mainly the steps that Albania is undertaking in the EU accession process, focusing in particular on the bold and sustainable reforms being undertaken.
Minister Bushati thanked the German government for open and honest cooperation and communication with Albania on reforms.
"It was a pleasure that I received today in the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Federal Minister for Europe, Michael Roth, who, besides a colleague, is my friend, friend of our country and friend of Europeanization projects taking place in our region. We are confident that Germany is a partner who has a clear reading either for the achievements we have made," said Bushati.
From the other side, the German Minister underlined the fact that Albania has undertaken successful reforms and reaffirmed that it can continue to rely on Germany's assistance.
