Even the fourth Constitutional Court judge, Fatmir Hoxha failed to pass vetting process this Thursday. He could not prove his income and was fired by the Independent Qualification Commission (IQC).
Hoxha could not justify an apartment with a value of EUR 140 million and some bank accounts in his name.
The commission was skeptical despite the fact that Hoxha's lawyer pretended that his client bought the apartment with money taken from his brother-in-law.
His wealth form shows that Hoxha's was significantly enriched during the last years from ALL 1.7 million that he declared on 2003 he owns now ALL 23 million.
A week ago, the judge of Constitutional Court, Altina Xhoxhaj was discharged by the IQC. She has been released from duty after not being able to justify her income.
Earlier judge Fatos Lulo failed the vetting process as a result of not being able to justify his assets, while Judge Besnik Imeraj resigned before the investigation into him started.
Vitore Tusha remains the sole constitutional judge to successfully undergo vetting and continue exercising her profession, to date.
