The summer has officially started in Saranda. The coastal city has already opened the 2018 tourist season and is ready to host thousands of Albanian and foreign tourists.
The launch of the season was celebrated with folk songs and dance, as well as other sports and cultural activities. For all the participants there was no lack of traditional cooking as well as other initiatives which became part of many children.
There was also presented the motto of this summer season, which is "Saranda has a place for everyone". The celebrations also coincided with the visit of about 3,000 mostly American tourists who arrived in the city with a cruise.
The tourists were surprised by the Ionian coast, but also by the reserved hospitality.
