The Head of the Parliamentary Group of Socialist Party (SP) and in the same time, Secretary General, Taulant Balla has reacted on Wednesday after the DP and SMI accusations regarding internationals reports which classified Albania at significant risk for money laundering due to rampant corruption and weak legal and government institutions.
According to him, if they would love Albania, they would have the courage to acknowledge what has been done and help in the way of uneasy efforts to do more for it.
"With a strong political cynicism, almost ready with a nihilism fueled by the politics interests, we have seen opposition MPs referring abusively to international reports like that of US State Department, to raise all sorts of melodramatic stories for an Albania that plunge every more and more days in crime and drugs. If they would love Albania, they would have the courage to acknowledge what has been done and help us in the way of uneasy efforts to do more," Balla said.
He added by saying that the actual government, will do more for Albania, rule of law and security, transparency and accountability, prosperity and economy, because according to him, this is the their obligation before Albanians.
