During a work analysis by Tirana's Municipality on Monday, the Mayor Erion Veliaj, on the occasion of International Workers' Day on May 1, thanked all the employees of the companies that care for the city and stressed that the Municipality has entered into the investment season.
According to him, in addition to works in each neighborhood, a series of important infrastructure projects that will bring a better quality of life for citizens and facilitate the movement of vehicles in the city will start as soon as possible.
"I urge the citizens to understand that we have been released all over the city to lay the asphalt and line the streets. We want to take advantage of the sunshine, especially during the summer holidays when the city is empty to bring things to the end. Today we are in a completely different situation because we have brought the infrastructure under control in kindergartens, nurseries and schools," said Veliaj.
The Mayor added by thanking the daily work of the municipal enterprises, but also the work done by the citizens, making Tirana one of the cleanest cities in Southeast Europe.
