The attempt to prepare a remotely-controlled mine may have been the origin of the explosion in a mobile-service shop in Tirana on Monday. This is one of the leads that are being followed by the police as part of an inquiry aimed to throw light on this serious episode.
Gentian Hoxha, 34, the shop's owner was seriously injured due to the powerful blast and now lays in critical conditions in the Trauma Hospital.
The type of substance which caused the explosion has not yet been defined, while the only sure fact so far is that the blast happened when Hoxha was sitting in this worktable.
