Snowfalls and temperature decrease generates problems in numerous axes. The Albanian Roads Authority (ARA) issued on Sunday a press release on the roads current condition

According to ARA all national axes are currently passable despite the snowfalls and the presence of ice on the street. However the drivers are urged to move with extreme caution, while the use of snow-chains is recommended in some axes of the northern areas.

The Civil Emergencies and the Ministry of Defense are already in maximal alert, ready to cope with any problematic situation that may be generated in rural areas.
