The volunteers of the "Different Weekend" initiative have enriched Farka�s Lake on Monday with 200 other trees after the call made by the Municipality of Tirana.
The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, thanked them for deciding to use their contributions for another need of ours, such as greenery.
"I am very grateful to Arb�r Hajdari and all volunteers of "Different Weekend". The human need is greenery, clean air. I like that today we are addressing this need, which is in fact the sighing need of a city for more green spaces. We are very close to our record with 100,000 trees and I believe that thanks to the contribution was made today by �Different Weekend �we will not only catch it, but we will pass this record by March 21st.�
The leader of the "Different Weekend" initiative, Arb�r Hajdari congratulated the Mayor of Tirana for this initiative which, according to him, is very necessary for our country, saying that this is a great job and that should not be included only the municipality, but all citizens of Tirana and other cities.
