The Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) chairwoman, Monika Kryemadhi appealed to the Elbasan citizens on Saturday to join the opposition�s protest on January 27. During a meeting with SMI structures in this city on Saturday she urged every Albanian citizen to wake up from the deep sleep of oblivion and put an end to this corrupted governance.

�January 27 protest does belong to the opposition. Everyone should put aside their political convictions. Albanians should wake up from the deep sleep without further delays and protest against the vital inequality that they are currently experiencing due to this corrupted government. We should not protest for any political force but in defense of the citizens� interests. Prime Minister Edi Rama may pretend to be the country�s master but he can never be the Albanian citizens� master,� declared Kryemadhi.

Dwelling on the sick teacher from Rreshen story and Premier Rama�s intervention that enabled to her to receive a much needed medicament she said that this should not be an isolated gesture,

�The same care should be shown by the state to many other patients all over the country,� said the SMI chairwoman.
