Tirana mayor, Erion Veliaj awards the �Medal of Gratitude� to the renowned Albanian boxer, Ferit Keta. This honorific title was bestowed to Keta at the end of a meeting on Friday with mayor Veliaj in the municipality premises.

�This medal is awarded to all those that contribute in promoting Tirana�s and Albania�s image in the world. Ferit Keta is not only a champion but also a patriot, someone that would never abandon this country despite the modest origins and limited financial possibilities to support champions of such caliber,� said Veliaj.

In conclusion he urged to the new generations to follow Keta�s example and raise even higher the Albanian flag in the future.
