The temperatures decrease during the last 24-hours seems to be leading toward an improvement of the fires situation in the forests.

According to the latest data released by the Civil Emergencies on Monday only one fire has been reported in a forest area of Bogova, Skrapar.

A surface filled with bushes and pine trees was engulfed by the flames while the broken terrains generated many difficulties for the firefighters. They finally managed to extinguish the flames with the help of the inhabitants.

The Civil Emergencies repeat their appeal to the citizens to immediately report any sign of fire in the forests in the emergency numbers 112, 129 and 0694110198 because a rapid intervention mat prevent severe consequences.
