A rare creature, known as 'Flying Turtle', fell in the fishermen's net in Orikum, part of the coastal city of Vlora. The biologists that analyzed the turtle declared that she was 20-years old and had a weight of around 10 kilogram. They baptized this rare creature of the sea with the name of 'Vlora'

'Chelonia mydas', this is the name scientific name of this creature of this grass-eating creature, may live up to 100 years and reach a weight of up to 500 kilograms. The name 'Flying Turtle'originates from the high speed with which she moves in the water and the fact that she is equiped with arms that resembles to wings.

The turtle was set free after being carefully studied by the biologists and equiped with a signaling device that will monitor her movements underwater. This is the second time that a similar exemplary is captured by the fishermen in Vlora.
