2 Ton Cannabis Seized in Italy, Three Albanians Arrested

A huge quantity of 2 ton of cannabis sativa was seized on Thursday in Ancona, Italy. 

The market value of the drugs quantity that was found in a truck coming from Albania is calculated to be around EUR 20 million. 

Three Albanian citizens were arrested in flagrance after the narcotics unveiling by the anti-drug dogs of the Italian police. According to the police the drugs had been hidden inside a load of gypsum panels.

The arrested Albanians names have not yet been unveiled due to the inquiry�s secrecy and the fact that Italian police inquiry for a full discovery of this narcotics smuggling network is still ongoing.
