They have the votes. But despite this fact the ruling coalition urges for a new consensual Head of State. Prime Minister Edi Rama declared on Saturday that the object of the majority is to elect a President acceptable by all political parties.

"We will elect a new President of the Republic acceptable by all and supported by all," said Rama in a meeting with some retires in the capital.

This declaration comes only few weeks before the end of the mandate of the actual President Bujar Nishani, on April 18.
