The Minister of Finances, Arben Ahmetaj declared on Tuesday that country’s economic growth during 2017 will be around 3.5%, fully in compliance with the executive’s expectations. Speaking over the economic performance during 2016 he said that deep reforms of these last three years were reflected in country’s economy.

“Economic growth during first trimester of 2016 was 3.3%. Country’s economy experienced a difficult period due to the bad management by the previous government” declared Ahmetaj, adding that January 2017 data are also optimistic, on view of the fact that incomes from taxes, customs and insurances are around ALL 29.9 Billion compared to ALL 29.1 Billion of the same period one year ago.
