Some 780 police officers have been deployed in 12 districts as part of a two-hour blitz raid undertaken by the State Police on Wednesday. A total of 165 temporary check-points have been established in the entire territory as part of this blitz raid that sees the cooperation of different police forces. 

This action is focused mostly on the punishment of the road rules’ violators, especially those of the article 170 of the Road’ Code for the use of safety belt. The State Police blitz raid aims to raise citizens’ awareness on road rules importance.
