The leader of Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), Ali Ahmeti declared on Thursday the imminent opening of the negotiations with WMNRO-DPMNE, mandated by the president George Ivanov to form the new government of Macedonia. But the leader of DUI, Ahmeti declared that he has not decided if the negotiations will end with a repetition of the partnership, due to the fact that his political force is considering 4 possible options: the coalition with VMNRO-DPNE, the coalition with LSDM, the participation in a technical executive, or the role of opposition.

“Each one of these options is being carefully considered by the highest levels of our political force,” said Ahmeti, adding that negotiations with WMNRO-DPMNE will not be so easy. He laid the stress on the fact that this political force will not become part of the executive if the Macedonian partner will not accept the Albanian parties’ joint declaration, signed on January 7.

The 7-points joint declaration, realized with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama intermediation, aims a complete equality between the Macedonian majority and the Albanian community in this country.
