The author of an armed robbery on Thursday in Fushe Kruje – Lezha highway has been arrested by the police. He has been identified as Ardi Lleshaj, 20, born in Kurbin. The last was injured by the police after being surrounded while trying to elude capture. Special Forces effectives and a helicopter participated, along with Lezha police forces, in this raid for the capture of an armed robbery author. 

The large scale raid kicked off after Lleshaj ambushed and stole ‘Porsche’ vehicle and then involved in fire-exchange with police. A police officer suffered head injury and was urgently hospitalized. 

The investigation for a full clarification of this grave episode circumstances’ is still ongoing.
