The Municipality of Tirana will soon implement an employment program focused on former-convicted women re-integration in the society. Mayor Erion Veliaj announced this project on Thursday during a number of decorative trees planting in women�s prison.

�A special program focused on these women reintegration in society through employment opportunities has been drafted by the municipality staff. Many of these ladies that are currently serving time in prison for various violation of the law are more than welcomed in municipalities various enterprises. This project is based on the idea that difficult moments are easily overcome through work in the service of community,� said Veliaj.
He also thanked the institution�s director, Elona Demollari for joining municipality�s initiative for trees planting aimed to make the capital greener each day.
