The 'Daybreak' movie, directed by Gentian Ko�i, will be among the competitors in the 29th edition of Trieste Film Festival. The movie, which has already competed in various festivals, will be screened for the first time in this competition on January 25.

The movie�s subject narrates a social drama focused on the character of Leta, a mother that has not been able to pay the rent since several months. When the house owner evicts her along with the one-year old son they find shelter in the house of Sophia, an old and seek woman whose daughter hires Leta to take care of her mother. Leta finds herself obligated to keep Sophie alive by every mean in order to have a roof over her head and a few incomes.

�Daybreak� has also been chosen as Albania�s official candidacy for Oscar prize in the �Best Foreign Movie� category.
