SMI, All Votes to Prohibit Gambling in Albania

Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) is ready to vote a new law to close gambling in Albania, if majority, the Socialist Party has the votes and consensus on it.

The head of the SMI Parliamentary Group, Petrit Vasili, said on Saturday that gambling is a heavy social disease and it should be cured as soon as possible.

"The problem is very simple. Prime Minister Edi Rama must bring the project to prohibid gambling in Albania in Parliament and we will vote it on the first Parliamentary Session in January. All votes of SMI group will be pro closure," said Vasili.

He guarantee that if only one member of SMI will not vote it, he will be expelled by the party.

"I believe that Rama will gather all the votes of his parliamentary group within January," said Vasili.
