Floods, Emergency Headquarter Urgent Meeting

Prime Minister Edi Rama gathered in an urgent meeting on Wednesday the Emergency Headquarters to analyze flooding situation all over Albania. After the situation created in North now the risk of flooding appears in South but PM Rama was more relaxed saying that Government invested in South improving the situation.

“We have taken all the necessary measures, we have invested for the situation amelioration on days like this,” said Rama. 

Meanwhile the Head of Civil Emergencies Shemsi Premci informed that Vjosa River is swelled, up to a critic point and Albania informed even Greece too. He informed that only in South, Ministry of Defense engaged 300 troops to monitor flooding situation in Southern areas.
