‘Retro’ Exhibitions on National Museum 35th anniversary
October 28, 2016

‘Retro’ Exhibitions opened on Friday in occasion of the 35th anniversary of the National History Museum. This special exhibition includes known and unknown sketches, part of this museum archive fund, indicating the beginnings of a voluminous work. It includes also footage from the construction process of a giant building in the center of the capital and the process of objects placement in different pavilions. Images of the work done by the restorer and fragments of ancient mosaics are also part of this exhibition.

A multitude of pictures showing the Albanian reality in the 80-s was a “must’ in this special exhibition.

The National History Museum was inaugurated in 1981. A team composed by the best experts of that era in the fields of history, linguistics, archaeology, ethnography, architecture and arts worked for the establishment of this museum.
