Lajcak: Judicial Reform, Key Element for EU Negotiations Opening

Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak declared that Albania has made a stable progress in relation to 5 key priorities for negotiations with EU opening. Speaking to journalists on Wednesday during the presentation of Slovakia’s priority as the EU president he stressed the necessity for major efforts.

“Judicial reform approval by the Albanian parliament is expected with great impatience. This fact would allow a quick implementation of this important element. Expected results must be evidenced in the European Commission autumn’s report” said Lajcak.

He concluded by expressing the willingness to proceed with the next step within December.
