Veliaj Appeal to the Citizens to Protest at the Administrative Court

Tirana Mayor, Erjon Veliaj urged the Tirana citizens to gather in sign of protest in front of the Administrative Court on Wednesday. This appeal is linked to the consideration by this court of a request submitted by the Tirana City Hall for the abrogation of the construction permit issued for a number of buildings in proximity of the Artificial Lake dam.

Tirana City Hall asked request consideration by different judges due to the fact that, according to mayor Veliaj, some of the current judges are closely related to the constructors that would implement this project. Tirana City Hall request has been overruled by the Administrative Court.
