During his official visit to Italy, Speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta had a meeting with the President of the Senate of Italy, Pietro Grasso. Both personalities discussed further economic collaboration, speaking also about TAP gas project.
"TAP is a very important and strategic project for the energy security. Italy it is a leading economic partner of Albania. A strong Italy means a strong Albania," said Meta. Meanwhile Grasso appreciated the role of Albania in the region, adding that Albania has taken progressive steps even in the international arena.
