Customer Punched in Face for Requesting Fiscal Receipt, Two Arrested

War against informality brings the first incident. The 22-year-old waiter Emiljano Maliqi, and the administrator of a bar situated in Tirana, Dritan Jonuzi, 38 years old were arrested because the waiter punched the customer several times in the face after the latter asked him the fiscal receipt. 

After the occurrence, police and the Inspectors of the Taxation and Economic Crime sector inspected the bar where this violate event took place. The inspection report said that the administrator did not give fiscal receipt to the clients to avoid paying taxes.

The arrested persons are charged with the following offences: “concealment of income”, “illegal employment”, “slight physical injury” and “disturbance of public order”.
