NFA Blocks and Returns 10 tons of Flour from Greece

National Food Authority (NFA) has discovered and blocked on Sunday a load of 10 tons of wheat flour because of irregularities in the documentation.
The data according to the accompanying documents did not match the label on the label of the product label.
The inspection bodies of DRAKU, Korca during the control exercised at the Customs Point of Kapshtica found that a subject who claimed to introduce the product "wheat flour" in Albania had irregularities in the authenticity of the documentation accompanying the load.
From the physical control of the product "wheat flour" it turned out that this product had no production and expiration date stamped in 25kg paper bags, but only one label attached in Greek language, without translation in Albanian.
Immediately, National Food Authority will follow the customs procedures for its return to origin.
