The State Supreme Audit (SSA) issued criminal charges against six officials of the Pogradec Municipality. According to this institution, the officials caused a big damage by violating the equality in bids. Meanwhile, another measure was taken against 38 other persons for other violations.
This institution filed criminal charges against the mayor of Memaliaj, Lulzim Mece, alleging that he caused a damage in a value of Lek 5 million.
Other measures were taken against the officials of these municipalities that are fined for the violation of the law.
