Anti cannabis operations continues all over the country. Vlora police discovered on Saturday and destroyed over 1500 narcotic plants. According to a press release by the local Police Department, the cannabis plants were found in three villages, in one of which the plot holder has been arrested by the blue uniforms.

Thus, the greater density of plants was discovered in the village Velc, in a place called "Kodrat e Asomatit", where in the middle of the forest in eight plots were planted over 1,020 narcotic plants, which had reached up to 140 cm of height.

Meantime, in the village Kocul was found a parcel with about 460 plants, whose height reached up to 120 cm.

The rest, about 40 cannabis roots, were discovered in the village Kërkovë, where the owner, Joy Haxhiraj, 59 years old, has been arrested.
