MP Erjon Brace Denounces Three Illegal Concessions

Socialist lawmaker Erion Brace, also chairman of the Economic Parliamentary Committee, in addition to the scanning scandal concession in the Albanian customs, denounced on Friday two other concessions, the ones of fiscal stamps and the oil painting, which were given by the previous government.

Referring to the sale of half of the shares in the concession of scanning, Brace called absurd the fact that half of the value of a business worth of Lek 360 million was sold for only Lek 500.

"I stay true to everything I said two years ago about this concession, but also for about the fiscal stamps and the painting of fuel. It was said here that the concession on stamps is the most modern one. What is the most modern, when according to the International Monetary Fund, it lacks the 'track and trace' system, which means that these stamps cannot be traced?!," said Brace.
