Albania has won the legal battle with UEFA in the Court of Arbitration of Sports in Lausanne, obtaining 3 points from the match that was interrupted on last October with Serbia. Nine months after the serious incident in Belgrade, Albania finally got the right solution, which was denied in two levels of sports' justice in the highest body of European Football, UEFA. The facts presented to the Court Arbitration of Sports were irrefutable, although they were the same as those that were presented to UEFA, but the latter did not take them into consideration.
After all this long waiting in the absence of justice, Albania was awarded with 3 points, which are very important for the progress of this national football team in the European qualifiers.
Albania is already in second place in Group I with 10 points with one game still to be played, same as Denmark and with 2 points less than the leading Portugal.
