The Church of Saint Prokop, situated in Tirana�s Lake Park, built in 1780, will be restored. This positive new for the Orthodox believers was given by Mayor Erion Veliaj on Tuesday during the planting of some 100 new saplings in this park. The mayor informed the journalists that the church and its surrounding environment will be fully restored regaining its identity.

�In spite of the fact that the famous church of Saint Prokop has been given back to the Orthodox Church this premises still presents nearly the same image as prior to the 90�s to the park�s visitors and the believers. A project for the church�s identity restoration has been already drafted by the Municipality of Tirana. This entire area will be reconstructed becoming a small jewel of the capital,� declared Veliaj.
