The former captain of the Albanian National Team, Lorik Cana, was officially presented on Thursday at the Albanian Football Federation (AFF) premises as the ambassador of the Grassroots organization for Albania. Grassroots, funded by UEFA, is mainly related to the development of various projects with young people and the football�s spreading to children who grow up in difficult conditions playing on boulevards sidewalks and not in football fields.
In his speech Cana expressed the satisfaction for this mission he considered to be extremely important.
�I look forward to start working on this project. Grassroots is a very good opportunity for young people as it will push them toward football. As Grassroots� ambassador I will try to be a guide to children
The AFF president Armando Duka also attended Cana�s presentation as Grassroots ambassador ceremony praising him as an example for the children while guaranteeing that he will have the support of AFF in every aspect.
