Democratic Party (DP) set three conditions to Prime Minister Edi Rama for the implementation of electoral reform on Monday.
The Democrat leader, Lulzim Basha presented these specific conditions in a brief communication with journalists on Monday.
�Electronic voting and counting, reduction of the parties� chairmen role and a major representation of the citizens, those are 3 conditions set by DP for the electoral reform. We are totally committed to involve the citizens, the civil society and the academic world inviting them to contribute in this reform. The qualitative implementation of this reform is among DP priorities,� said Basha.
He underlined the opposition�s willingness to discuss about any model that fulfills these conditions.
Meantime referring to the May 18 agreement he declared that it was killed by PM Rama.
�This government is the result of drugs money, thus Premier Rama killed the May 18 agreement through June 25th elections,� declared the DP chair.
