The Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) saluted the democratic electoral process in Kosovo.
Through a press statement released on Monday the MFA defined this process as a clear expression of free will in a fair and competitive process, while considering this as a solid proof of democracy consolidation in Kosovo.

MFA expressed the confidence that the soon to be established new institutions will respond to the priorities, necessities and development challenges, including the Euro-Atlantic integration process.

The MFA expects to continue the close and comprehensive cooperation with the new government in order to strengthen and expand the relations between Albania and Kosovo, as well as to further develop and further co-operate in the regional context.
