Central Elections Commission (CEC) has not a united opinion about when was the last deadline for the political parties to submit their candidates for Members of Parliament (MPs)

Three members of this Commission, Hysen Osmanaj, Klement Zguri and Vera Shtjefni reacted through a press statement on Monday saying that the law, the Electoral Code was violated.

They pretend that political parties lists for MPs are invalid because they had time until 28 April not 29.

"Every list of the political parties with the candidates for MPs is null because they submitted them after the legal deadline which was the midnight of April 28. CEC cannot change the legal deadlines as it wants. We are very concerned about this decision that makes CEC a political institution which serves to the ruling coalition. If this commission will continue on this road the electoral process will be seriously damaged," say the three members of CEC.
