The Albanian National Team disappointed one more time the numerous fans losing with 1-2 score the friendly match against Bosnia-Herzegovina National Team in ‘Elbasan Arena”. Coach De Biasi’s team entered the field with a slightly different line-up compared to the match against Italy in Palermo, but failed to get the reins of the match.

The goal-less score lasted only 7 minutes due to a mistake of Frederik Veseli that punished Albania with a penalty. Bosnia’s attacker, Edin Dzeko transformed this golden opportunity into goal.

The Albanian players’ reaction attempts resulted ineffective due to the unsuccessful efforts of Hyka and Balaj in front of Bosnia’s goalkeeper, Begovic. Midfielder Senad Lulic scored the 2nd goal a few minutes ahead of the end of first half.

The half-empty stairs of “Elbasan Arena’ stadium highlighted the problems between the Albanian Football Federation (AFF) and the fan-groups. Anyway, those that chose to sit on the stadium stairs watching this match rejoiced by the only goal scored by Balaj for the Albanian team. The Shkodra born attacker scored thanks to an excellent assist by Hyka, but the final offensive failed to prevent the Albania’s defeat.
