Albanian art will be exposed in Strasbourg through an exhibition titled ‘A castle’s legend’, a rare selection of different creations of Shkodra artists, inspired by the legends and the city itself. This exhibition includes creations from known artists and young names born in Shkodra like Kol Idromeno, Danish Jukniku, Sytki Brahimaj, Edi Hila, Artan Dracini, Merita Selimi, Gjon Jon Kraja, Sidi Kanani, Eros Dibra and Pjerin Kolnikaj.

The exhibition shows the influence of the city’s story and castle’s legend, constructed thanks to the sacrifice of a young woman and mother, Rozafa. The unique selection of the work of arts under the title ‘A castle’s legend’ is inspired by the idea that the artists’ origin derives from cities and castles encircled with mystery and legend, thus they reflect this spirit in their creations.

The exposed works of art belong to the private collection of ‘Kalo Gallery’. ‘A castle’s legend’ exhibition will raise the curtain on January 10 and will welcome the visitors until February 3.
