Holidays have found the Albania capital not only decorated, but also with various activities. Celebrations are already underway in the Lake Park area. Visits in the zoo are only a small part of the entertainment activities organized by the Tirana City Hall. Zoo gates will remain open every weekend until the end of the year for the children, while gifts will be distributed to the families in need children. 

The Recreation and Parks Agency director, Blendi Gonxhe declared that this project marks the finalization of 15-months work. 

“This is a special day for Tirana Zoo Park. The courtyard has been transformed into a public space. Gates have been opened for the citizens, the park’s visitors, the workers and everyone that worked with us during last 15 months,” said Gonxhe. 

A number of voluntary clubs joined this initiative of Tirana City Hall by organizing donations collection for children with physical disabilities.
