President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani addressed a message of congratulation to the Albanian Armed Forces “AAF” on occasion of the National Army 104th anniversary.

“December 4, 1912 is the date that marks a major act in the history of the Albanian state, the creation of the National Army. Although not institutionalized, the Albanian military resistance has never been equal to zero. We have managed to exploit our limited capacities ensuring the survival and national integrity,” wrote the Head of State.

Referring to the current situation of the AAF President Nishani underlined that today Albania has a professional army, which is strengthened day by day, having clear goals for its improvement and modernization.

“Albania has become part of the largest political and military alliance of all times, that of the Northern Atlantics, known as NATO. We found the right path and are now proceeding toward a safe future with AF that fulfill their role in today’s troubled world,” declared Nishani.
