
Around 500 prisoners are expected to leave prisons cells within end of the year. They will benefit from the amnesty of the Ministry of Justice, which will soon be voted in Parliament. All those condemned up to two years of imprisonment or those that should spent no more than two years in prison at the moment when amnesty is approved will benefit from this process.
Even females prisoners over 50 and men over 60 will benefit, along with those who have been committing crime while under 18.
The amnesty is expected to provide solutions to prisons overcrowding situation.
