Some 180 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa were seized on Thursday in Durres harbor hidden inside a truck gas tank. A 28-years old individual from Lushnja, later identified as Altin Avdurramani, was arrested in flagrance by the police.
Sources of Durresi police informed that 165 packages of Cannabis Sativa with a total weight of 180 kg were discovered at the end of a minute inspection of a truck platted AA 537 HL and a trailer platted ACR 057.
The truck’s driver Avdurrahmani will now be prosecuted on ground of narcotics possession and attempted trafficking.
Durres police opened an inquiry aiming to define the origin and destination of the seized narcotics quantity.
